Line Cook (part time & full time)

Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and understand tickets
  • Ability to manage ticket times and orders
  • Build and plate menu items to order
  • Cleanliness on line and work surfaces
  • Communicate with line, prep, FOH and management
  • Set up, stock and break down line
  • Daily inventory
  • Follow recipes and plating according to directions
  • Answer and report to Head Chef
  • Prepare food according to customer requests
  • Follow safety measures for all allergies
  • Support prep and dishwasher when needed
  • Clean all aspects of the kitchen and line

Requirements

  • Servsafe certificate
  • Available weekends and holidays
  • Precious experience working in kitchens required
  • Understanding of recipes, ingredients, kitchen equipment
  • Ability to stand for an extended amount of time, lift up to 50 lbs
  • Listen to directions
  • Organization and time management
  • Ability to work with a team and solo work
  • Basic reading and math skills
  • Communication with all staff
  • Positive and willing to learn attitude
  • Build plates according to Chef instructions
